Upcoming Events and Special Dates:

Back-to-Church Sunday
Sunday, September 24, 2017—10:00 a.m. service
It has become our tradition at St. Peter's to invite friends, family, neighbours, coworkers to church for a special homecoming celebration on the last Sunday of September. We are serving a luncheon of soup, cheese, cold cuts, buns and dessert. All are welcome!

Community Dinner
Friday, September 29, 2017—5:00-7:00 p.m
We will be hosting our next Community Dinner in an effort to connect more closely with each other and our neighbours. If you know of a neighbour who might like to get to know us, in an informal way, please invite them. If you would like to assist with greeting, set-up or clean-up, please contact Heather Dunphy. There will be a volunteer sign up sheet posted on the bulletin board in the church.

Food Bank Sunday
Sunday, October 1, 2017
On the first Sunday of each month we ask you to consider bringing non-perishable food items to help stock St. Peter's Food Bank. Currently, we particularly are in need of pasta sauce, tinned tuna, Kraft Dinner, and chicken noodle soup. Thank you for your support.

Blessing of Pets
Saturday, October 7, 2017—11:00 a.m.
A simple service is held on the front lawn of St. Peter's Church. The service itself is brief and informal with a reading from Scripture, prayer, and then an invitation for people to bring their pets forward for a blessing. Bring along pets of all shapes and sizes - cats, dogs, reptiles, fish - even a picture of a pet who cannot be there.

Harvest Thanksgiving Service
Sunday, October 8, 2017—10:00 a.m. service
